"Beware the Angel of Death... She holds the key."
Cryptic words scrawled in a dying man's missive to his son are the only clues to murder, treason and romance in Regency England.

A thrilling page-turner with all the qualities of a great romance woven within. Once I started, I couldn't stop until it was over. Vivid descriptions make you yearn to be there. The mystery keeps you interested right through to the very last page. I can't wait for the next book. I would love to see more about these characters. Surely Gabriel and Sera have plenty more adventures ahead!

I enjoyed it very much! I particularly liked the historical references, and noted with satisfaction their accuracy--I hate it when authors try but don't quite get their settings and details right. I also liked that your lead characters were quite human, even a bit flawed---like most of us!
I am delighted to be able to say I [met] the author, and I intend to pass on my copy (for borrowing, of course!) to my sister and some friends so that they can enter the world of Gabriel, Sera and Mirabella as well!

As I read, I felt I had met a new wonderful romantic version of Alfred Hitchcock. It is a fantastic book that I enjoyed very much. It is for those who love romance, and mystery with a happy ending.
Mary R. - teacher from New Jersey says...
"If you like to read romances and historical fiction, then you'll really enjoy reading this book. True to the genre, you will find a strong attraction between the main male and female characters, who seem drawn towards each other despite everyone's efforts to keep them apart. Their relationship is drawn with more complex layers and depth than in many romances. Add a colorful supporting cast of loving family, best friends, neighbors who gossip, high society snobs, and cut throat villans, and you have a great adventure that's a real page turner. Top that all off with a dangerous mystery swirling around the heroine, one which keeps you second guessing yourself until the very end.
Notorious Angel is richly written, with well developed plot, characters, and settings. In fact, it is safe to say that this book has more substance to it than a typical romance book. I recommend Notorious Angel to you if you are a fan of historical fiction romances, with murder, mysteries, and mayhem. This is a book that both keeps you interested and hoping Ms. Kokoski will continue to write more stories for all us hopeless romantics."
